First thing you need to take a look at the blog and video blog entitled Why Network Marketing Fails: 4 Fatal Flaws of 98% of Opportunities by myself Jason C. Waite. This should clear most of the errors most new network marketers face in the industry BEFORE following the advice of this article.

After you've watched the previous video blog, you've realize why you need to choose a service based company, that is if your wanting you and your team to achieve financial freedom. You need to find something that everyone is already using, and that you don't have to change their habits to consume or save on. This may be tricky but opportunities will begin to arise. Some may even offer their service free to their consultants or distributors.

Okay so next what you do is take your potential new found opportunity and talk to (2) or (3) of their leaders. Ask for their strongest competition and ask for the differences. Do your research. Call all competitors and leaders and know the pros and cons of all companies and leadership. Do not rush. Do your do diligence. Call me if you need any advice.

Next, what is the credibility of the company? What does their leadership and culture look like? What are their past experiences? What have they learned or maybe are in a good position to experience? Are they members of the (DSA) Direct Selling Association? Better Business Bureau? Any legitimate awards? What's their history and current results like? Do they have a long term track record? Maybe they're a true ground floor opportunity without the ground floor risk(s)? What does the future hold for them and their industry/opportunity?

After you have researched your opportunity,  go atleast (2) levels above the leader your considering going into business partnership with. Your leader will in no way shape or form determine your long term success, however in the beginning stages you will need the right leadership, training, and most importantly YOUR commitment to being coached.
